Job Overview

CDL Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV 1 driver with a minimum of 1 year solid Class 1 experience to join our team in Southampton. As a reputable logistics company, we require a driver with a strong track record of safe and efficient transportation of containers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV 1 vehicles for general haulage duties, focusing on container transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to driver hours and vehicle maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Participate in regular vehicle checks and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year solid Class 1 experience.
  • Maximum of 9 points on the driving license.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Valid HGV 1 license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
