Senior Network Development Manager

About the Role

EngineeringUK is seeking a highly motivated Senior Network Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our network development team, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and implementing network operations that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of network development engineers and work closely with partner teams to ensure the success of our network operations.
• Collaborate with internal customers, partner teams, and other stakeholders to plan and implement network initiatives that meet customer needs.
• Develop and implement network operations that are safe, efficient, and scalable, ensuring that we stay ahead of customer demand.
• Focus on process optimization using relevant data, metrics, and dashboarding techniques to continuously improve our network operations.
• Work closely with internal customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Requirements

• Experience with ISP and Internet scale networking, with a background in building, scaling, and operating large-scale global networks.
• Track record of contributing to the creation and implementation of high-quality, high-volume recruiting plans.
• Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment, with experience in either a planning or network engineering role highly recommended.
• Ability to contribute to and support long-term visions and direction regarding networking at EngineeringUK.
• Experience in building and managing a team of strong technical people, with prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team.
