Job Overview

SPG Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Technical Delivery Manager to lead and manage technology-driven projects from inception to completion. As the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery that meets business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, risk management strategies, and project deliverables. Manage project timelines, ensuring activities and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technical Oversight: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and technically feasible. Provide technical direction and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with best practices and company standards.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing contingency plans to mitigate potential impacts. Monitor and address issues that arise during the project, ensuring they are resolved quickly to minimize disruption.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and issues. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with the original requirements and acceptance criteria. Actively participate in testing and validation processes, assessing delivered work against requirements to identify any defects or issues.
  • Agile and Scrum Practices: Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring the team focuses on high-value tasks, ensuring the work-load for the team is right-sized and free of blockers.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Create a positive team environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and high performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology-driven projects. Proven track record of end-to-end management of complex projects with multiple stakeholders, teams, and deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), IT infrastructure, and systems integration. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Devops. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading Agile teams.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
