Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial information and support to service managers and other budget holders, ensuring the efficient and proactive financial management of our hospital.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial information and support to service managers and other budget holders
  • Support the preparation and provision of variance analysis on a monthly basis
  • Meet with relevant budget holders as required
  • Assist in the maintenance of the system for the control of establishments, ensuring these are up-to-date and accurate
  • Support the Finance Business Partner and Deputy in the production of timely and accurate variance analysis reports
Requirements:
  • Good GCSEs and/or A Levels, and a willingness to undertake an AAT or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Able to work under own initiative and independently
