We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Material Technologist to join our dynamic Brand & Design Team. As a key member of our Colour, Material, and Finish (CMF) strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of product development and design innovation.

About the Role:

  • Lead the implementation of our CMF strategy across diverse product ranges, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with global standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to drive the CMF strategy, fostering information sharing and process development.
  • Develop and enforce a robust colour approval process, global colour/material catalogue, and quality control procedures.
  • Standardize colour and material needs, promoting the use of sustainable and cost-effective materials.
  • Act as a global colour/material expert, providing leadership in local development and maintaining a meticulous archive of data.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive expertise in materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of plastic materials and coating technology.
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing processes, including roto moulding, injection moulding, and surface finishes.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on sustainable material and process solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with industrial designers, especially in colour and surface-related topics.
  • Passionate about global business and adept at connecting multidisciplinary teams.
