Join The Sterling Choice Team:

As a Senior Specification Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in our client's commitment to excellence in the food industry. You will report directly to the Technical Compliance & Customer Manager, collaborating with various departments to enhance and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS).

Your efforts will be key in New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Development (EPD), and managing Customer Specification Systems for both product packaging and raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support external audits by ensuring complete traceability from supplier to end customer.
  • Collaborate & Coordinate: Work closely with our Food Technologist, Specification Technologist, and other teams to manage risk assessments, specifications for raw materials, and supplier compliance.
  • Maintain the raw material supplier database and keep customer portals accurate and up to date with relevant information.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications, assess ingredient suitability and compliance, and manage related systems and databases.
  • Participate in internal audits and assist in capturing and coordinating responses during food safety alerts.

Requirements:

  • Experience with quality management systems and supplier compliance.
  • Deep understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
