About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Threat Analyst to join our M&G Security Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in monitoring and responding to cyber threats, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of analytical rules to detect and prevent cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to investigate and respond to security incidents.
  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations to improve our security posture and incident response capabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance our security operations.
  • Work closely with our Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) to ensure seamless integration and effective incident response.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Security Operations environment, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint detection and response tools, such as Defender for Endpoint and Palo Alto Cortex XDR.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and IDPS systems, including NGFW and Firepower/Sourcefire.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Certifications

We welcome candidates with relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CySa+, ISC2 SSCP, and Microsoft-specific certifications like SC200 and AZ500.
