The Marketing and Communications Lead will play a crucial role in achieving our strategic objectives. They will spearhead our public relations efforts to elevate our visibility, initiatives, and partnerships.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing impactful communications throughout our projects, from soliciting innovative ideas to securing funding and disseminating our achievements, while also influencing policy and practice.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Development

  • Collaborate with the executive team to formulate a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that positions the organization as a leader in innovative service development.
  • Design, implement, and assess integrated marketing and communications initiatives that align with our strategic goals.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of communication and marketing plans.
  • Oversee the Marketing and Communications Officer, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish and nurture relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to enhance understanding of our services and impact.
  • Develop communications tailored to various audiences, including practitioners, policymakers, and community partners.
  • Network with key players in the field, including those within the NHS and other relevant organizations.

Communications Management

  • Oversee all digital communications, ensuring engaging content across social media and our website.
  • Lead the creation of non-digital marketing materials that effectively communicate our mission and objectives.

Event Coordination

  • Support the preparation for conferences and events, ensuring effective representation of the organization.
  • Organize cross-sector events that align with our strategic goals.

Media Relations

  • Develop targeted media campaigns to enhance the organization’s profile and publicize our initiatives.
  • Manage media inquiries and cultivate relationships with journalists and media outlets.

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of communications strategies and initiatives.

Professional Development

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

General Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations in all communications practices.
