Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner F/H to join our team at Alcatel Submarine Networks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project schedules, reviewing and compiling various project elements, and measuring project progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and coordination of the project plan (Plan of Work/POW)
  • Verifying the integrity of data inputs for the POW and checking consistency between tasks
  • Documenting and monitoring progress inside the POW or using additional tools
  • Preparing and presenting updates of project schedules to Customers
  • Identifying changes and recommending preventive and/or mitigation actions
  • Analysis of risks and assessment of impact of delays
  • Monitoring adherence of a project's schedule with the agreed plan(s)
  • Collaborating with the project team to maintain and update the project schedule

Requirements:

  • Experience of project planning within high-value projects, preferably with undersea/telecoms relevance
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and make presentations to Customers
  • Excellent team player, but also self-motivated and adaptable
  • Ability to work proactively to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Accountability, creativity, pro-activity and problem solving

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business, business administration, project management or equivalent
  • PMI or Prince certification preferred but not essential
