Job Title: Field Service Engineer

At Sulzer, we're seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dedicated Services team. As the primary point of contact for our valued customers, you'll manage customer interactions with professionalism and expertise, tackling a diverse range of rotating equipment challenges.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fault-finding activities on rotating machinery, showcasing technical prowess and problem-solving skills.
  • Execute the dismantling, inspection, and rebuilding of machinery in adherence to established work scopes.
  • Uphold the highest standards of on-site work quality, guaranteeing excellence in every aspect of our service delivery.
  • Conduct alignment checks using DTIs or Laser alignment equipment.
Requirements:
  • A recognised apprenticeship or possession of an Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Previous demonstrable experience of overhaul and repair of all types of electric motors and generators, including LV & HV.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes in project requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, ensuring precision in every task.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, establishing trust and confidence with our clients.
