We are searching for a highly skilled WAN Network Architect to contribute to our engineering team's success in designing and maintaining critical network infrastructure for the MoD.

About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and producing configuration documentation for network infrastructure, conducting governance reviews, and providing hands-on technical support during implementation and service delivery.

  • Network Design: Develop comprehensive network designs to meet MoD requirements.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Technical Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements and Preferences:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Strong Networking Background: At least 10 years of experience in networking, with 3 years in a design or architect role.
  • Certifications and Education: Relevant certifications and a degree in computer science or related field.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Remuneration and Benefits:

This role comes with a competitive remuneration package, including:

  1. Base Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum.
  2. DV Bonus: 10% - If holding DV clearance.
  3. Annual Bonus: 10% of base salary.
  4. Car Allowance: £6,000 per annum.
