Job Description

We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at the UK Telecoms Lab in Birmingham. As a key member of our innovative team, you will be responsible for conducting security evaluations and performing penetration testing on carrier-grade telecoms equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting security assessments to identify new and existing vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and platforms underpinning the UK's critical networks.
  • Performing penetration testing to evaluate the security posture of telecoms equipment.
  • Collaborating with our research team to develop innovative solutions to emerging security threats.
  • Engaging with industry stakeholders to ensure interoperability and performance standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating network vulnerabilities.
