Job Overview

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at SL Engineering Consultancy Ltd, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment. With a focus on electrical engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of machine tools.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical skillset, including in-depth knowledge of PLC systems and the ability to read and work from electrical schematics. Relevant electrical engineering qualifications are essential, and additional experience in machine tool maintenance would be an advantage.

Our benefits package includes a salary of £44,000 per annum, plus overtime pay for weekend work. We also provide a company van, fuel card, and credit card for expenses. Furthermore, we cover digs and travel expenses fully, with a £30 per evening allowance for working away and £7 per day for working away.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skillset, including in-depth knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Ability to read and work from electrical schematics.
  • Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
