CV Technical is seeking a skilled Fabrication and Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Chesterfield area. As an FMCG Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting planned and reactive maintenance across our operations, ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine checks on automated slicing machinery, tray sealers, and conveyor systems
  • Conducting maintenance tasks on vacuum packers, portioning and dosing machinery, and labelling and coding equipment
  • Servicing forklift trucks, pallet trucks, and lifting equipment, as well as maintaining roller doors, fire exits, and staff entrances

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also contribute to the upkeep of site facilities, including BMS systems management.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher within an engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of experience within manufacturing, preferably in the food or FMCG industry
