We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Officer to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and leading imaginative cross-curricular learning programmes for Islington's primary, special, and secondary schools, relevant to the National Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a programme of activities for families and under 5s, in collaboration with the community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at the Cally Clock Tower Centre to establish a joint and complementary learning programme at both sites.
  • Design and deliver learning programmes that meet the identified needs of a target audience, such as families, schools, people facing discrimination, or social exclusion.
  • Manage volunteers and student placements, and develop internal partnerships to achieve the service's programming vision and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Recognised professional museum or heritage education qualification.
  • Experience of working in a heritage site, museum, or similar cultural environment.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the educational and wellbeing role of heritage sites and parks, and awareness of current thinking around this.
