Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our Infrastructure Team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering complex IT systems within our data centers, including storage area networks, server estates, VDI infrastructure, backup services, and local and wide area networking, including security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage Azure environments with expertise in PowerShell and other relevant scripting languages.
  • Hold baseline accreditations in-line with the technologies employed by the group and be responsible for the uninterrupted operation of data center systems.
  • Develop and implement cloud infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar technical role.
  • Deep technical knowledge in specialist fields with a broad understanding of all infrastructure technologies at a delivery and administrative level.
  • Proven experience in administering and managing Azure environments.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and other relevant scripting languages.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, architectures, and best practices.
  • At least one enterprise-level storage, server, or networking certification (Tier 1 Vendor, e.g., HPE, Cisco, Microsoft).
