About the Role

Award-winning Awaze is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic IT team in the UK. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our IT infrastructure across the Awaze group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Scalable Solutions: Develop and implement scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business.
  • Deploy and Configure Infrastructure Components: Deploy and configure servers, storage, and other infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Monitor and Maintain Infrastructure: Analyze and optimize, monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures across all infrastructure components to protect our business and customer data.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to support continuous integration, operations, and improvements.
  • Document Infrastructure Configurations: Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer.
Requirements
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies: Experience/knowledge in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud technologies, including cloud compute, cloud networking, cloud DNS, cloud monitoring, and cloud automation.
  • Microsoft Windows Server Technologies: Demonstrable experience of Microsoft Windows Server technologies and associated technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, IIS, DFS.
  • Enterprise Storage and Backup Technologies: Working knowledge of Enterprise Storage and Backup technologies.
  • Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving Skills: Attention to detail, desire to learn, ability to work flexibly, take part in an on-call rota, customer-focused, and the ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot problems through to resolution by collaborating across technical teams.
  • Agile Ways of Working: Understanding or exposure to agile ways of working.
