Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Type: Contract - 12 months initially

Job Summary:

Gibbs Consulting IT Services & Solutions is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to support our end client's new data centre build. The ideal candidate will have recent experience focused on private cloud, VMware, IAAS integration, migrations with NSX and ACI integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement private cloud infrastructure using VMware and IAAS integration
  • Migrate existing infrastructure to the new data centre without impacting service
  • Collaborate with the core team to build the data centre, fit-out, and set up shared services and ecosystems
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the infrastructure and migration process
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure design and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of VMware, IAAS integration, and migrations with NSX and ACI
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment with a mix of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
