Civil Design Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Design Manager to join our team at https://railbusinessdaily.com/sitemap. As a Civil Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design team and ensuring the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design team and manage the design process to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet technical and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables.
  • Implement effective cost control measures and maintain understanding of commercial aspects of projects.
  • Record and track documents electronically and monitor adherence to quality assurance.
  • Conduct outline design and detailing of Rail civil infrastructure providing accurate and appropriate imagery.
Requirements:
  • Experience in design and detail of structure and superstructure solutions in Rail.
  • Ability to work as part of an integrated design team and act on instructions from the Design Manager.
  • Working experience with ProjectWise and Bentley Systems.
  • Experience of managing the coordination of multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in the use of spoken and written English language.
