SENCO Role in Outstanding School

**Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced and passionate SENCO to join our team at an outstanding primary school in the Borough of Hillingdon. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the school's special educational needs provision.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, pupils, and parents to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Liaise with external agencies to ensure that students receive the support they need to achieve their full potential.
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs) and educate health care plans (EHCPs).
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to improve pupil outcomes and achievement.
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff on SEN-related matters.
**Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Experience of working in a primary school setting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of improving pupil outcomes and achievement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
