Main Duties of the JobWe are looking for dedicated professionals to work with our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the rehabilitation and complex discharge management of patients with a wide range of conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support ward staff in their day-to-day work and development, promoting interdisciplinary team working.
- Provide information, training, and support to promote effective patient care and discharge from the ward area.
- Lead Healthcare Assistants and peers to ensure a high standard of patient-centred care.
- Contribute to the monitoring and auditing of standards of care in the ward area.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and share key issues across the ward team.
- Ensure the effective and efficient use of resources.
- Work proactively as the ward and bed coordinator, ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained.
We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications and experience:
- Current NMC RN Level One or due to qualify following completion of a University degree.
- Evidence of ongoing development and education.
