Job Description:
We are seeking warm, flexible, and compassionate Relief Support Workers to join our team. As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals with varying levels of care needs, including learning disabilities. Your role will involve assisting with day-to-day living duties, such as budgeting, shopping, and supporting with medication and personal care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day living duties, including budgeting, shopping, and supporting with medication and personal care.
- Collaborate with service users, families, carers, and involved professionals to provide a coordinated and consistent service that maximizes outcomes for service users.
- Be responsive to the needs of service users in line with Person Centred Plans and respond flexibly to changing needs.
- Encourage and support service users in expressing needs, views, and concerns, enabling them to make their own choices and decisions.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role is essential.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
