Job Title: Children's Residential Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Care Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Children's Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours in a residential setting.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support to young people, promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of all residents.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engage in activities that promote independence, self-esteem, and life skills, such as education, leisure, and vocational training.
  • Collaborate with parents, social workers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support and care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People is desirable.
  • Experience in a residential children's home environment is desirable.
  • Full Driving Licence is essential, as you may be required to transport young people.
