About the Opportunity

We are working with a respected leader in environmental engineering and conservation to find a Technical Director for their Senior Management Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to take on a strategic role, influencing technical standards and guiding the direction of innovative engineering solutions that harmonise human activities with the needs of aquatic ecosystems.

The Technical Director will report directly to the Managing Director, collaborate closely with the Engineering Team Manager, and provide critical technical leadership across major projects.

From bid management to hands-on project oversight, this role offers the chance to engage in high-impact projects focused on environmental preservation and sustainable practices.

About You

  • You have proven experience in a senior technical or engineering management role within environmental, ecological, or civil engineering sectors.
  • You have strong expertise in project and bid management, with a focus on commercial and contractual aspects.
  • You are skilled in producing and reviewing technical design drawings for complex projects.
  • You have knowledge of CDM (2015) regulations and experience managing compliance across varied project roles.
  • You possess exceptional leadership qualities, with a collaborative and strategic mindset.
  • You have excellent communication and client engagement skills, with experience managing complex technical discussions.

What We Offer

  • A competitive annual salary ranging from £60,000 to £80,000, depending on experience, plus benefits.
  • Bonus: Annual bonus paid in December.
