About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Sustainability Director to join our team at HDR. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our services and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the leadership team in ensuring that our services meet the needs of our clients and are delivered successfully against internal requirements.
  • Effectively deliver and lead delivery of sustainability tasks with appropriate supervision, coordinating with internal divisions and project teams, other project disciplines, and the client.
  • Support and advise internal and external project teams in targeting and achieving specific sustainability strategies and solutions.
  • Proactively mentor and direct junior colleagues to ensure their professional development and task delivery is successful.

Requirements

  • An appropriate Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Environmental / Sustainability / Energy / Building Services / Engineering.
  • Practitioner / Chartered (or equivalent) member of an appropriate industry association.
  • Accreditation in three or more of the following: BREEAM NC/RFO, WELL AP, HQM, Fitwel, Greenstar, LEED, Estidama Pearl.
  • Delivery in two or more of the following sectors: Education, Healthcare, Hotel, Industrial, Datacentres.
