About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to our mission of making a positive impact on the environment. As an Associate Sustainability Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the leadership team in developing and implementing sustainability strategies
  • Coordinating with internal divisions and project teams to deliver sustainability tasks
  • Mentoring and directing junior colleagues to ensure their professional development and task delivery
  • Managing day-to-day service line project delivery and management responsibility for nominated team members
  • Ensuring successful management and delivery of modelling services to our clients in a timely, integrated, and technically proficient manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated practical experience, competence, and proven expertise in evaluating state-of-the-art building designs and energy-efficiency technologies
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical systems and controls and knowledge of the specialized requirements of highly technical facilities such as hospitals and laboratories
  • Ability to develop detailed energy models with eQuest or other simulation software
  • Understanding of energy-efficient commercial lighting systems
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to speak with confidence to building owners, facility personnel, contractors, architects, and engineers
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
