Residential Care Team Leader

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our residential care team in the South West region. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of our statement of purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputise in the absence of the registered manager
- Support and manage staff to enable them to meet the needs of children and young people
- Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate
- Manage child protection concerns and complaints
- Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people
Requirements
- Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Working towards or holds a level 5 Diploma leadership and management residential childcare
- Current full driving license
- At least 3 years' experience in Residential children's Care which includes supervisory experience
