Senior Private Client Tax Director

Austin Rose Associates is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Director to join their team in the City of London. As a leading public practice recruitment specialist, they have developed a strong reputation for delivering exceptional recruitment services to the accountancy and finance sector.
The ideal candidate will have over 9 years' experience in personal tax, with a strong portfolio of clients consisting of directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, HNWI's, landed estates, non-UK domiciled individuals, and non-resident clients. They will also have extensive personal tax advisory experience and excellent staff management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, overseeing the compliance process and identifying tax-sensitive expenditure and wider tax issues.
- Support the Tax Partners closely to deliver tax advisory services and manage the private client tax team by hearing the voice of team members, conducting appraisals, and providing coaching of assignments to support the development of team skills.
- Establish strong working relationships with clients through regular contact, including attending client meetings and monitoring utilisation, productivity, and WIP.
Requirements:
- CTA or ACA or STEP qualified.
- Over 9 years' personal tax experience.
- Experience working on a varied, large portfolio of clients.
- Extensive personal tax advisory experience.
- Excellent staff management skills.
