Pharmacy Manager Job Description

Meridian Business Support Limited is proud to be working on behalf of a major pharmaceutical company based in Newbury. We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a team of pharmacists and counter staff.

The company's pharmacies are led and supported exclusively by pharmacists, who are always looking to develop new ways to deliver the best service possible to their customers.   • Salary: £48 - £52K per annum
  • Location: Newbury

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on others' lives. Whether you are supporting pharmacists, providing top-notch services to customers, or fostering community spirit, your work will touch the lives of hundreds of people every day.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supplying prescriptions, delivering a range of NHS and Private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers.
  • Playing an active role in our charities support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Leading, training, and developing colleagues.
  • Using a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available, so we are always there to meet our customers' needs.

You will need:

  • A Pharmacy Degree.
  • To be passionate about leading and empowering a team.
  • To be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and be willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups.
  • To complete a DBS check (organised by the client) before employment.
