Pharmacy Manager Job Description

Meridian Business Support is proud to be working with a leading pharmaceutical company based in Newbury. The company is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a team of pharmacists and counter staff. Our client's pharmacies are led and supported exclusively by pharmacists, who are always looking to develop new ways to deliver the best service possible to their customers. The role of the Pharmacy Manager will involve:
  • Supplying prescriptions, delivering a range of NHS and Private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers.
  • Playing an active role in our charities support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Leading, training, and developing colleagues.
  • Using a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available, so we're always there to meet our customers' needs.


Requirements for the Pharmacy Manager position include:
  • A Pharmacy Degree.
  • Passion for leading and empowering a team.
  • Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups.
  • Completion of a DBS check (organised by the client) before employment.
