Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Driver's Assistant to work alongside our lorry drivers, delivering large goods to residential properties. As a Driver's Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting drivers with the delivery of goods
  • Calling ahead to customers to confirm arrival times
  • Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of goods
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of organization and communication skills

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness to lift heavy goods
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Reliable and organized
  • Steel toe cap safety boots and high vis vest

Pay Rate: £11.66 per hour

Working Hours: 5-6 shifts per week, 9-10 hours per shift

Induction: All new Driver's Assistants are subject to an induction day that must be attended.
