Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of UK Regulatory Reporting to support the Global Head of Regulatory Reporting in ensuring compliance with UK financial and regulatory reporting regulations for a UK broker dealer executing and clearing trades for institutional clients and for affiliated companies carrying balances for in regulated and unregulated products encompassing spot equities, derivatives, and crypto assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit necessary regulatory reports and returns (FCA MIFIDPRU 9) to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulatory rules.
  • Ensure that regulatory requirements are complied with and acted upon as required.
  • Function as a primary point of contact with the FCA and manage all regulatory examination engagements, audits, and inquiries.
  • Continually assess the adequacy of internal processes, data, and controls which support the production of regulatory returns and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and strengthen the control framework as required, including keeping standard operating procedures up to date.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • ACA Qualified accountant with at least 7+ years of experience
  • Experience within an FCA regulated environment
  • Good working knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS
  • Understanding of general ledger and performance of financial reconciliations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
