Apprentice Plater

We are seeking an Apprentice Plater to join our manufacturing team in Stockton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing a high standard of workmanship through guided practice and training.

• Embrace and learn the importance of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards within the company culture.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project goals.
• Strive to achieve project tolerances and specifications required by the company and clients.
• Act professionally and competently, learning to comply with legislation and company policy.

You will spend one day per week at Hartlepool College for theoretical and technical training, and work the other four days at Glacier Francis Brown, applying practical skills and contributing to projects.

• Interest in pursuing a career in structural fabrication.
• Keen to learn and understand engineering drawings.
• Willingness to undertake internal/external training as required to develop necessary skills.
• Motivated to work both individually and as part of a team to meet project requirements.
