We are seeking an Apprentice Plater to join our manufacturing team in Stockton. As an Apprentice Plater, you will have the opportunity to develop a high standard of workmanship through guided practice and training.

You will collaborate with the production team to meet project goals, striving to achieve project tolerances and specifications required by the company and clients. You will also learn to comply with legislation and company policy, acting professionally and competently.

As an Apprentice Plater, you will spend one day per week at Hartlepool College for theoretical and technical training. You will work the other four days at Glacier Francis Brown, applying practical skills and contributing to projects.

You will be interested in pursuing a career in structural fabrication, keen to learn and understand engineering drawings, and willing to undertake internal/external training as required to develop necessary skills.

You will be motivated to work both individually and as part of a team to meet project requirements, with a professional and productive work ethic. You will be eager to meet targets and objectives set by supervisors and the company, ready to embrace new challenges and commit to ongoing personal and professional development.
