About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insight Officer to lead our insight and evaluation function, particularly our Place-Based working, ensuring that we are able to use insight and local intelligence to inform decision making.

The successful candidate will have experience in research, including identification of good practice, data analysis, and use of performance management tools to report on outputs, outcomes, and impact.

They will have an excellent understanding of a range of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods and the ability to collect and interpret high-quality data and to use compelling narratives to demonstrate the impact of individual projects.

The Insight Officer will work across our team, leading our measurement, evaluation, and learning work and supporting colleagues in effectively measuring, evaluating, and showing the impact of our work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our insight and evaluation function, particularly our Place-Based working
  • Use insight and local intelligence to inform decision making
  • Develop and implement data collection and analysis methods
  • Present data and insights in a compelling way
  • Support colleagues in measuring, evaluating, and showing the impact of our work
