Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working with a variety of technologies. You will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our network systems and provide technical support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues
  • Document and maintain accurate records of all network system configurations and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or network administration role
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum
