About the Role

The Senior Network Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's computer network infrastructure. They will provide technical support to users, analyze network performance, and recommend upgrades as necessary.

This role requires collaboration with the network engineering team to design and implement new network technologies, as well as maintaining network security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extensive knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Experience in network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools, such as Nagios or SolarWinds.
  • Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP) is highly desirable.
