Fitness Coach

About the Role:

As a Fitness Instructor at GLL, you will be responsible for inspiring individuals to achieve their fitness potential. Your role will involve providing personalized services in the gym, offering workout advice, and teaching classes. You will work closely with clients to understand their fitness aspirations and develop bespoke programs tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collecting and analyzing information related to individual clients
• Identifying and agreeing on short, medium, and long-term goals
• Planning, instructing, and evaluating safe and appropriate exercise sessions
• Providing 1-2-1 or group inductions and general exercise programs
• Teaching classes or small group training
• Selecting relevant exercises and designing programs that address safety
• Producing program cards for clients/members
• Suggesting exercise adaptations for individual client differences or needs
• Using logical and progressive teaching methodologies
• Selecting and demonstrating training methods
• Providing clients/members with advice on how to progress their programs
• Providing assistance to correct unsafe technique
• Interacting and motivating clients/members to promote retention and adherence
