About this role:

  • We are seeking a lead bus engineer to join our team, responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults on our buses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and repairing bus engines, transmissions, and other components
  • Conducting regular vehicle inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex technical issues

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Salary: £20.00 - £25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent in automotive engineering
