We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Professional to join our team at Dalkia UK. As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our client's site.

About the Role

As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for managing a staff team, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. You will also lead the day-to-day delivery of our facilities services and operations, deputising for the Facilities Manager and the Front of House Manager in their absence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a staff team to ensure efficient and effective management of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs, statutory compliance, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of our facilities services and operations, deputising for the Facilities Manager and the Front of House Manager in their absence.
  • Ensure the client's site is fully compliant with all H&S/statutory legislation.
  • Ensure service provided is compliant with contractual SLA's/KPI's and meets and exceeds client expectations.
  • Undertake administration including basic finance – invoicing and raising purchase requisitions.
  • Actively build relationships with key stakeholders, building a deep understanding of our clients' needs in order to exceed expectations.

Requirements
  • Experience in a similar management capacity.
  • Experience/knowledge of facilities management.
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Own transport (there is no public transport to the site location).
