We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Waiter/Waitress to join our team at The May Fair Hotel. As a Senior Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence.

About the Role:

  • Supervise a team of Commis Waiters and Waiters to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Work closely with the Head Waiters, Bartenders, Floor Managers, and Restaurant General Manager to achieve success indicators and perform effectively in areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about our menu, wine list, and other products to provide expert recommendations to guests.
  • Ensure that all areas of the restaurant are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Waiter/Waitress or Waiter/Waitress in a busy, quality-driven restaurant operation, preferably fine dining.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Impeccable command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work well with others and understand the value of teamwork.
