Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our repairs and maintenance team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will provide high-quality electrical repairs to tenanted and vacant properties, ensuring a customer service-driven repair and maintenance service.
You will be covering the Calderdale district, working as part of a team to ensure efficient use of time, materials, and resources. Your role will involve carrying out repairs in accordance with job tickets, specifications, and contract drawings, adhering to good practice and Building Regulations.

- Carrying out electrical repairs to both tenanted and vacant properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and good standard of performance.
- Organising your work to minimise lost or non-productive time, highlighting proactive solutions to manage workload peaks and troughs.
- Utilising your initiative to diagnose and undertake repairs that may be different from the job required or where the job required was of a locate fault type nature.
- Working to a consistently high standard of workmanship, adhering to service specification, service standards, and safe working procedures.
Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Technician role include:
- Electrical qualification – NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations or equivalent.
- Knowledge of BS7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
- Full UK Manual driver’s licence.
- Relevant post-qualification experience and expertise in electrical maintenance.
- Experience of working in a customer service environment.
