Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled interpreter to work with various public and private organizations in the UK, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other sectors. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another language, with excellent communication and listening skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services
  • Verifying the understanding of non-English speakers after each sentence
  • Providing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
  • Liaising between service users and providers

Requirements

  • Fluent English and another language
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications in interpreting or translation, such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
