We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Underwriting Support Specialist to join our team at Time Appointments. As an Underwriting Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to our underwriting teams, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of a professional service.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate underwriting data is captured on systems to minimize risk and ensure high-quality output of information.
- Support underwriting teams through general administration, ensuring the delivery of a professional service.
- Develop technical knowledge to take on more complex tasks over time.
- Run daily print procedures for emailing documents and preparing the post.
- Complete renewal chasing processes to ensure retention is as high as possible and clients and brokers are aware of their renewal.
- Make contact with clients who pay annually to collect their premiums and secure the business.
- Chase broker partners by email on the status of cover extensions and for information required to quote.
- Create and edit documents manually as required.
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade A-C, including English and Maths.
- Computer literate.
- System data entry experience and processes would be beneficial.
- Rational approach to complex data.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Accurate and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent proactive organization skills and ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Sound mathematical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and statistics.
