Job Summary:

ICTS Europe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team in the Slough and Uxbridge area. As a Relief Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our Data Centre premises and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage access control for buildings and car-parks, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect potential security threats.
  • Verify and challenge ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Activate and deactivate alarms, unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Monitor fire, security, and building systems, including CCTV, to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
  • Identify and report Health & Safety issues and provide first aid if necessary.
  • Respond to customer requests and queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and events using computer-based systems.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in security.
  • Five years' checkable history and references.
  • Pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) license.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role.
