Marketing Coordinator Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our Marketing Department in driving marketing efforts. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing various marketing activities, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Department, including scheduling meetings, maintaining marketing calendars and databases, and organizing files.
  • Maintain promoter and venue websites, including general web maintenance and event-specific listing maintenance.
  • Build email blasts using APE-managed email databases, with familiarity with HTML and/or IBM Watson/Acoustic encouraged.
  • Manage Advertising Accounts Payable Process, including tracking advertising payments per show and serving as direct billing contact with vendors.
  • Assist in show and venue marketing, including maintenance of advertising plans per show and creation of advertising packs/closeouts for presentation to artist teams.
  • Assist in social media maintenance, including Facebook events per venue, social media strategy and editorial calendars, and engagement with followers/patrons.
  • Upload and organize house photography albums.
  • Assist in media escorting at select APE concert venues as needed.
  • Customer service support on phone systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, research, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 0-1 years of experience in a marketing role or internship.
  • Experience with the following software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, HTML and/or IBM Watson/Acoustic, Dropbox, Airtable, Bill.com, Meta Ads Manager, ToneDen, and the music industry.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM practices.

Compensation & Benefits Package:

SALARY: $50,000 – $55,000 (NON EXEMPT) – commensurate with experience
