Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Solihull Community Respiratory Team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient-centered care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform specialist assessments of respiratory patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Provide respiratory interventions, including COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease, Bronchiectasis, Asthma, and palliative patients requiring oxygen
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to maintain independence, promote self-care, and assist patients in their usual place of residence

Requirements:

  • Diploma/degree in adult nursing
  • Current registration with the NMC
  • Evidence of CPD, including recent post-graduate training relevant to clinical specialty
  • Significant experience managing a caseload of patients with complex needs in this specialty
  • Good understanding of working in the community
  • An ability to frequently concentrate on patient assessments and treatments
