Director of HR and Learning and Development

4c Executive is supporting Praxis Care in the appointment of a Director of HR and Learning and Development who will report to the Chief Executive and join a stable and driven senior leadership team.

About the Role

The Director of HR and Learning and Development will support the organisation and its employees as it continues to grow and evolve. Leading and transforming a large HR and Learning and Development function, through the development and delivery of clear and measurable strategies for HR and Learning and Development as well as the development of the respective teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a human resources strategy that supports the delivery of key organisational performance metrics.
  • Lead and manage a HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of HR services.
  • Proactively manage employee relations within a complex environment, ensuring a positive and productive working relationship between employees and the organisation.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of HR and Learning and Development resources.
  • Develop and deliver training and development programs that support the growth and development of employees.

Requirements
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years' at senior management level having demonstrated broad and progressive experience in a human resources and/or learning and development function, ideally within a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong track record of leading and proactively managing employee relations within a complex environment.
  • Experience of leading, motivating and managing a HR team.
  • Knowledge and experience of robust budget management.
