About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Ada Belfield Care Centre. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting residents with personal care, domestic tasks, medication, and health-related activities in line with agreed personal care plans.
  • Providing emotional support and helping to meet social and emotional needs.
  • Assisting residents to maintain their independence and completing records in respect of personal service plans, logs, reviews, and admissions.
  • Liaising with colleagues, other agencies, and families/carers to ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the department's recording systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience of caring for others (work-based, voluntary, or personal).
  • Understanding of and empathy with the needs of vulnerable people.
  • Ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of clients.
  • Understanding of the principles of treating others with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to work flexibly over a regular shift pattern to include days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
