About the Role

Fleet Tutors is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Tutor to join our team of experienced educators. As a Maths Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require additional guidance in mathematics subjects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality tuition to learners in a one-to-one or small group setting.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual learners.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learner guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex requirements.
